How to Install libident software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

libident software package provides simple RFC1413 client library - runtime, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libident

libident is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libident package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libident *

You will get with libident package name, version, architecture and description in a table
